12 Cookies of Christmas: Day 4

I took these cookies to work one day and they disappeared in no time!  People kept going back for seconds and even thirds!  Love sugar cookies?  Love chocolate?  I give you today's cookie.

Chocolate Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

3 ounces unsweetened chocolate

1 cup butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon

2 cups flour, sifted

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Microwave chocolate and butter until melted

In mixer, blend sugar and the melted chocolate

Stir in egg and vanilla

Slowly add in flour, baking soda and salt

Chill dough until easy to handle (roughly 30 minutes)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Spoon onto greased cookie sheet or parchment paper

Bake for 8-10 minutes
