Happy Friday, everyone!  Today, I'm linking up with Narci, Andrea and Erika to share this week's Friday Favorites! I don't know about you guy, but this week was tough and I'm so glad it's Friday. I'm headed into NYC today to meet up with a friend from high school who now lives in Texas.

The weather in Jersey has finally been nice and I was able to run outside in SHORTS!! Can you tell I was just a little excited about that?

My commute to work can take anywhere from 45-60 minutes so I've recently gotten into listening to podcasts. I've only listened to 2 so far from Allegedly, but I've loved them. I was introduced the the podcast because Cheryl Burke from Dancing With The Stars was on an episode. These do contain some language and more mature themes at time, but it was worth it to get a little inside scoop on DWTS!

Is anyone else watching The Catch on ABC? I am and I love it! I'm pretty sure I was a spy/private investigator in another life because I love stuff like this. It took a little time to accept the fact that Peter Krause is the bad guy in this show, he'll always be Adam Braverman to me.

And speaking of TV shows, have you seen this picture from the relaunch of Gilmore Girls?!?!?! I died when I saw it! Kirk and Jess in one picture? YES PLEASE! Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, everyone!  Today, I'm linking up with Narci, Andrea and Erika to share this week's Friday Favorites!

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I'm obsessed with Friends.  I just binge watched it for the first time and can't believe it took me this long.  My life feels so empty now that I can't end my day with an episode (or four) to relax.  I have a feeling this show will be on repeat when I need a break from watching dramas.

For Christmas this year, I got a Kitchenaid Immersion Blender and was a little puzzled at first.  What was I going to do with it?  Sure, I love to cook, but I'd gone 25 years without one so why now?  Let me tell you, 25 years without one was too long!  No wonder this was our go-to wedding present for everyone last year, I love it!  I use it for everything: to make smoothies, to make muffins, to make mousse, even to make oat flour!  Sorry, Santa, for questioning your judgement when it came to this gift. ;)

Can I just say how excited I am that JoJo is the new bachelorette?  I was totally Team JoJo during Ben's season and was heartbroken he didn't pick her.  Chris Harrison really had me going during the announcement and when he finally said it was JoJo, I may or may not have screamed in my hotel room!  Also, did you see this picture that ABC Exec Robert Mills tweeted?

LOVE that JoJo's mom is drinking from the bottle again!  Also, I love JoJo's dress.

Have you guys had the Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic Seasoning?  If not, you need to.  I'm obsessed with garlic and make a dip out of it and it's seriously the best thing ever.  I made it on a Sunday evening and it was gone by Thursday.  Sadly, I live by myself so I have no one else to blame for the disappearance of the dip. #iheartgarlic #gottakeepthevampiresaway #maybethisiswhyimsingle

"Have mercy!"  Have you guys seen this?  It makes me so excited for Fuller House and gives me all the feels.  I can't wait for the Tanner family to be back on my TV.  Plus, how amazing does the cast look?  I just wish Michelle was going to be on the show.  Fingers crossed for season 2!

These Old Navy compression leggings came in the mail 3 days ago and I'm obsessed.  They're cute, they're comfy and more importantly, they have a hidden pocket that's perfect for my house key when I go out for a run.  They're on sale right now, plus everything online is 15% off!  I might be stocking up on some more of them with that deal.  I usually wear a 4 but sized up to a medium and they're perfect.

Did you see my super easy chocolate covered Valentine's Day pretzels?  They're perfect if you need a last minute treat for Valentine's Day!

And speaking of Valentine's Day treats, who doesn't love homemade Rice Krispie Treats.

I helped interview Kelsey Ballerini for work and she is the absolute sweetest.  She greeted us with a hug and was so friendly.  I can't wait to see what the future has in store for her.  PS. Doesn't the first picture make us look like besties?  I love it!

I've heard so much about making chocolate mousse with avocados and our curiosity and in an attempt to get healthier, I decided to give it a shot!  It did not disappoint!  Seriously guys, it's so good.  You wouldn't even know it has avocado and no added sugar.  I made everyone at work try it.  You can find the recipe here.

Hello, my name is Angela and I'm a TV addict.  Among the shows I watch are the new NBC comedies Superstore and Telenovela.  Superstore comes from the producer of The Office and I love it.  Plus, it has Ben Feldman -- isn't he just adorable?  Telenovela stars Eva Longoria and is about the cast of a telenovela.  Everything is corny, over-dramatic and hilarious.  Eva Longoria's character is great because she's Hispanic but doesn't speak Spanish -- sound familiar? ;)

Last weekend, a friend and I went into the city and had s'mores at a cute little cafe called DTUT.  I mean is there anything better than s'mores, wine and girl time?  I think not!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  This time next week it will be CHRISTMAS!!!!!  I can't wait.  I just have one plane ride, one wedding and one 17 hour car ride to get through first.  I'm linking up with Narci, Andrea and Erika to share this week's Friday Favorites! 

This little free library is right down the street from me and I love it!  I've already been there a couple times to leave a book and also to take a book (or 2!).  It's so cute and so much fun to see what books are there.

This week, my sweet little dog turned 13!  I love this picture.  I picked up this bone for her at Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming and as you can tell, she was so excited to have it that she refused to stand still for a picture.  She's even licking her lips in this picture!  Since Freedom is so little and the bone was so big (for her at least), Mom broke off pieces of it and gave it to her.  Mom then sent me a text later in the day saying Freedom kept following her around.  My dog may not be the brightest, but she knows when Momma's holding out on the good stuff!

 A friend of mine sent me this picture showing me that she made my Grinch cookies.  This made me so happy!  I've never had someone send me in a picture of something they've made from my blog -- it was exciting!

My adopted family in New Jersey invited me over for a gingerbread house making competition.  Every year, I'm the only person in my house to make one so it was fun to be with a bunch of people making them at the same time.  We all took the competition seriously.  Here's mine.  See the pretzels in the left corner?  I was so proud of myself.  I made a sled and had a gummy bear riding it.  Then someone told me they thought it was a gummy bear roasting in a fire.  Sigh.  Maybe it was just too creative for them! ;)

We separated the guys and the girls for the competition.  The girls got remade houses and the guys had to put theirs together.  This was mainly because they didn't have 10 kinds of one house.  The guys were sent to the garage to work and one of the girls said she walked by there and heard the drill going.  Lo and behold, she did.

The guys put all of their houses together to build this church.  Pretty impressive except that they used non-edible materials and were disqualified.  They had wood inside holding the church up, and we're pretty sure they used actual caulking, too, but they won't say either way.
